I sometimes wonder if the fear of loosing tax exempt status has compromised their spiritual responsibility to take a moral stand on things. We were disheartened with the outcome of the election. Both Iowa and Colorado went the same way. However, our county, Harrison County, was one of the the few Iowa counties that didn't go for Obama. Western Iowa is pretty conservative. Anyway, it's difficult to sort everything out....so I found your prayer to encouraging.
